TERUMI YOSHIKAWA
PROFILE
I began working as a teddy bear artist in 1988.
I thereafter, entering various contests were my work has been
evaluated inside and out, and gained a reputable reputation for
making for making quality teddy in Japan.
I have also been priviliged to have my work exhibited by
The Louvre Museum in Paris.
Since then I have experimented creating bears
of many subject nature,
such as "ROYAL BABY" a bear made to commemorate
the birthday of inner lmperial Princess(Toshinomiya,Aiko Sama)given
by hand to the princess.
I have also made bears for the Crown Princess Masako Sama's marriage.
Moreover, I have paticipated in many charity auctions such as
"Baseball Bear" in which I made a tribute bear for Japanese
major league player.
Along with other characters as Sumo Bear for a former
Yokozuna and many Japanese TV stars & celebrities.
Now, I strive to spread the development of teddy bear art
as a director of specific Nonprofit Organization
Japanese Teddy Bear Association through written
activities from my Tokyo couture.
